Why AlliedSkillsPrep® Exists

We’re not another school. We are the bridge between education and employment.

For over two decades, our founder has been quietly building pathways for allied health students who finished school but were told they weren’t “ready.” Not because they lacked effort — but because they lacked externship hours, hands-on verification, or a second chance at certification.

“I didn’t create AlliedSkillsPrep® to sell courses. I created it because the system was failing students.”
— Founder, AlliedSkillsPrep®

A Letter from the Founder

I did not create AlliedSkillsPrep® to start another school. I created it because I watched good students disappear after graduation. They had the knowledge. They paid their tuition. They passed their classes. But without externship hours, skills verification, or a second chance at certification, they were told they weren’t “ready.” Their future was put on hold.

For 20+ years, I worked behind the scenes with major allied health institutions — helping launch Patient Care Technician programs at campuses like Lincoln Tech, opening licensed schools, training instructors, and helping develop nationally recognized credentials in Medical Assisting, Phlebotomy, and Patient Care. With national boards and partners like NHCWA, we pioneered the world’s first stacked multi-skilled credentials.

Before job sites were common, I partnered with urgent care networks to create one of the first healthcare job boards — guaranteeing employment pipelines for graduates, no matter their walk of life. In 2010, when online learning was still new, I partnered with hospitals to build a study-at-home model combined with real-skills labs — a blueprint many still follow today. During the pandemic, we launched hands-on bootcamps so stranded graduates wouldn’t lose their future.

The Problem Was Never the Students — It Was the Gap

  • Between theory and practice
  • Between graduation and externship
  • Between diplomas and employer trust

AlliedSkillsPrep® was born to close that gap. Not as a school — but as a bridge. We verify hands-on skills, coordinate externships, prepare for national boards, and connect graduates to employers who trust our registry.

Pioneering Credentials

Developed and trademarked globally recognized allied health credentials, including multi-skilled pathways.

Employer Pipelines

Built one of the first healthcare job boards and partnered with urgent care centers for guaranteed hiring tracks.

Hybrid Before Hybrid

In 2010, designed an online + real-skills model with hospital partners — still trusted by major employers.

Pandemic Bootcamps

Launched intensive skills bootcamps so new grads could retain competencies and certify despite shutdowns.

“We don’t just graduate students. We validate them — so employers can trust them on day one.”
— Founder, AlliedSkillsPrep®

Our Promise

  • Your education will not be wasted.
  • Your skills will be verified and recognized.
  • Your path to national certification will be clear.
  • Your name will be listed in a registry employers trust.

This is not just a business. It’s a promise to every student who was told “no experience.” To every graduate who was told “not ready.” To every employer still searching for people who can truly do the work.
